Bitget and Mastercard Launch Zero-Fee Crypto Payment Card
Bitget Wallet has announced a partnership with Mastercard and infrastructure provider Immersve to launch a zero-fee crypto payment card. The card allows users to make payments directly from their Bitget Wallet at over 150 million merchants worldwide that accept Mastercard.
The product integrates Mastercard’s Digital First technology, enabling instant issuance and seamless mobile wallet integration. The card is funded in real time through on-chain swaps and crypto deposits.
The initial launch targets the United Kingdom and the European Union, with planned expansion into Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand. Crypto-to-fiat conversion is handled via Immersve’s infrastructure, which complies with KYC and AML standards.
