El Salvador’s National Library launches Bitcoin node and education hub

El Salvador’s National Library has launched a Bitcoin node and an educational center dedicated to cryptocurrency. This initiative is part of the country’s efforts to increase citizens’ access to blockchain technology and promote financial education in the crypto space.
The project includes operating a Bitcoin node managed by a well-known local educator under the pseudonym @PupusasG on X. This node will help validate transactions and support Bitcoin’s decentralized network.
In addition to the Bitcoin node, the library has inaugurated a dedicated section for cryptocurrency education. This area will provide resources on Bitcoin, blockchain technology, and financial literacy for the general public.
El Salvador became the first country to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender in 2021, and this initiative reaffirms its commitment to integrating cryptocurrency into its economy.
