Emirates to Accept Cryptocurrency Payments via Crypto.com Partnership

Emirates has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Crypto.com to integrate the Crypto.com Pay platform into its payment system, according to an official statement issued on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. The collaboration aims to offer cryptocurrency payment options to Emirates customers starting next year, following the completion of security and compliance reviews.

According to official statements, the partnership seeks to adapt to changing customer preferences, especially in the context of Dubai’s evolving digital finance ecosystem. Crypto.com is expected to gain increased exposure in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, expanding its presence through this collaboration.
