First U.S. Spot XRP ETF Expected to Launch Next Week
The first U.S. spot XRP ETF may launch next week, following announcements at Ripple's Swell conference. Canary Capital is among the firms expected to be first to go live.
Five spot XRP ETFs issued by Bitwise, Franklin Templeton, 21Shares, Canary, and CoinShares have been listed as “pre-launch” by the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), indicating readiness for official launch.
Canary Capital announced its preparation of a spot XRP ETF after the recent launch of its HBAR and LTC ETFs. Initially expected on November 13, sources suggest the ETF could be available as early as next week.
Analysts report strong institutional interest, anticipating rapid growth in assets under management for these new funds. The launch of spot XRP ETFs represents a major step in integrating major cryptocurrencies into the traditional U.S. capital markets.
