Gemini launches XRP Mastercard in the US

Gemini has officially launched an XRP Mastercard in the United States, in partnership with WebBank. The card allows users to make payments in fiat currency while earning rewards in XRP. According to the company, cashback can reach up to 4%, though final terms of the rewards program are yet to be confirmed.

The launch represents a new stage in integrating cryptocurrencies into traditional payment systems. Until now, the market has been dominated by similar products focused on Bitcoin and Ethereum, making Gemini’s card one of the first major initiatives dedicated to XRP.

The official announcement followed a marketing campaign in New York, featuring a billboard with the XRP logo and the date August 25, which captured the attention of the crypto community. After the launch, XRP trading volumes increased, and analysts are watching to see whether this move will sustain an upward trend in price.
