Michael Saylor's Strategy Adds Nearly $740M in Bitcoin This Week

Strategy, led by Michael Saylor and the largest public holder of Bitcoin, reported the purchase of 6,220 BTC worth approximately $739.8 million. According to documents filed Monday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the acquisition occurred during the week ending July 20.

The average price paid was $118,940 per Bitcoin. During the same period, Bitcoin hit a new all-time high above $122,000 before dipping to $116,000 and stabilizing around $118,000, according to CoinGecko.

With this new acquisition, Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings have risen to 607,770 BTC, purchased at an average price of $71,756, with a total value of approximately $43.6 billion.

This marks one of Strategy’s largest recent acquisitions, reinforcing its long-term strategy of Bitcoin accumulation. The company remains the leading institutional player in the crypto ecosystem by both volume and investment consistency.
