Pantera Capital invests $300M in crypto treasuries

Pantera Capital has invested $300 million in companies managing crypto treasuries, stating that these firms may offer higher returns than cryptocurrency ETFs. The US-based venture capital firm said its investments focus on companies holding various digital tokens, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and other altcoins.

Cosmo Jiang, Pantera's general partner, and Erik Lowe, head of content, stated that digital asset treasuries (DATs) can generate yields that increase net asset value per share, providing greater token ownership over time compared to simply holding coins or ETFs.

Investments targeted companies in the US, the UK, and Israel. Analysts note that while crypto treasuries have attracted billions of dollars and seen significant stock price growth, the market is already crowded, and some firms may fail.
