Ripple Partners with Chipper Cash to Expand Crypto Payments in Africa

Ripple has announced a partnership with Chipper Cash, an African fintech platform, to facilitate cryptocurrency-based cross-border payments in Africa. According to a statement released on March 27, Chipper Cash will utilize Ripple Payments to improve the speed and accessibility of international money transfers.

The partnership aims to reduce high costs, delays, and lack of transparency in cross-border transactions across Africa. Representatives from both companies stated that blockchain integration will optimize the remittance process and expand access to financial services in the region.

Meanwhile, crypto index fund manager Bitwise has released a long-term forecast, estimating that XRP’s price could reach $29 by 2030, assuming significant adoption in the payments and asset tokenization sectors.
